The GCP Personal Evangelism Equipping Strategy

Our goal at Good Catch Publishing is to equip each individual church member to share the good news of Jesus Christ through the personal testimony of people within your fellowship. These are the elements we will produce to give your church a sustained personal evangelism structure.

Our 8-Week Creative Process (12 weeks to publication)

  1. GCP receives surveys and contract from client church.
  2. GCP Editor in Chief assigns church to Project Manager.
  3. Project Manager calls potential storytellers, schedules interviews between storytellers and professional freelance writers. Project Manager schedules exactly seven stories for book.
  4. Professional writers conduct phone interviews at scheduled times with storytellers.
  5. Professional writers receive nine days to write storytellers’ stories. Final stories run between 3,500 and 7,000 words each.
  6. Professional writers submit their pieces to Project Managers, who edit and revise their pieces.
  7. Project Manager sends story to storyteller. Storyteller receives three days to make changes and approve the story.
  8. Once all seven stories have been approved by storytellers, Project Manager sends entire book to PIC or Pastor for review.
  9. PIC/Pastor receives seven days to review book for theological soundness and make any necessary changes.
  10. Once PIC/Pastor approve book, Project Manager sends book to Proofreader.
  11. Proofreader proofs and formats book and returns book to Project Manager.
  12. Project Manager reviews book one final time and sends it to PIC/Pastor.
  13. PIC/Pastor receives three days to review the final, formatted book for format only.
  14. Once PIC/Pastor approves the formatted copy, book goes to print. Printing takes one week; shipping takes one week.
  15.

Vision Casting for Personal Evangelism

For the sake of this document, book release Sunday will be called “D-Day” (Delivery Day)

  1. 8 weeks from D-Day, we will begin a vision-casting process. This will be done with brief videos played  during Sunday service. These videos will create anticipation and begin equipping your fellowship for evangelism.
  2. 6 weeks prior to D-Day, GCP will send a large banner and numerous posters displaying the cover art of the book and an announcement anticipating D-Day.
  3. 2 weeks prior to D-Day, GCP will send enough copies of the book for every family to receive 1 copy.
  4. D-Day will be a celebration service where a GCP representative will speak, cast vision, equip church members and pray over the individuals in the book.
  5.

Ongoing Evangelism Equipping Strategy

  1. In the following months, GCP will send monthly emails reminding congregants to use these books for personal evangelism. The email will also teach the people how to use the books.

Some topics covered in the emails include:

  1. Success stories
  2. How to invite someone to church
  3. How to lead someone to Christ.
  4. Where to place the books to make the greatest impact
  5. Prayer strategies for effective evangelism
  6. Many inspiring, equipping and instructing thoughts
  7. GCP will find in your fellowship a “Saturation Campaign Evangelist.” This person will take all the surplus books each month and will place them in door hanger bags, which we provide, and begin a coordinated saturation campaign placing the books systematically throughout the geographical ministry area of the church. GCP will provide a map that can be marked and displayed to show the progress to your congregation.
  8.

Financial Elements of the Process

  1. The church will pay $500 per month for three months during the book creation process. (If the book takes longer than three months to produce because the church has missed deadlines, GCP will continue charging $500 per month until the book is completed. If the book exceeds three months due to a failure on GCP’s part, there will be no additional charge to the church.)
  2. At the end of the service on  D-Day, the church members have the opportunity to sponsor books, which will cost approximately $7.50 per copy. This will decide the number of books the church receives each month.
  3.

Benefits of GCP’s Evangelism Equipping Process

  1. There is virtually no work for the church.
  2. GCP will produce a high-quality book.
  3. This tool will facilitate a very high level of personal evangelism.
  4. GCP will reinforce vision casting through the entire creative process.
  5. GCP will continue to educate, inspire and motivate long after the book has been released so that personal evangelism becomes a lifestyle and not merely an event.

I hope this answers any questions you have. Please feel free to call and ask any other questions at any time.
